    Everyday Kindness

    Everday_kindness_3

I (and many others) have pledged to doing an act of kindness everyday. I am dedicating this page to updating everyone on some of my small acts of kindness. Check back often to see my progress and what acts I'm doing. Also, Please check out the Everyday Kindness blog and blogroll and see what everyone else is doing to make this world a better place, one kind act at a time.

Everyday Kindness #40 - I held my Grandma's hand the night she died. This is the hardest thing I have ever done in my life.

    Everyday Kindness #45
    - I am working on helping my mom through this rough time. My Grandma was her life. With my Grandma gone, my mother doesn't know how to live. I am desperately trying to show her how.

Everyday Kindness #47- I am making a few pieces of work (jewelry or sculpture) to be donated to a local hospital for their charity auction. The money goes to help their pediatric wing.

My ongoing Everyday Kindness - Our office has a wonderful, sweet cleaning lady (Let's call her J). Many, many years ago, she worked for a company that forced her to clean with pure bleach. It fried J's lungs. She, being poorly educated and thankful for just having a job, never did anything about it. She has no insurance and barely makes ends meet. J cannot afford the proper care she needs and doesn't even own her own breathing treatment machine. Of course, she not knowing what sort of medical attention she needs, had no clue you could actually own a treatment machine of your own. I am trying to find her a machine. I cannot afford to buy one for her, but am searching for one to be donated. If you have one that you don't use anymore or know a place that donates them, I would appreciate the heads up. UPDATE: Thank you oh AWESOME one for donating a nebulizer! The power of kindness! I've ordered new tubes for the machine and can't wait for them to arrive so I can give it to her. Check back soon for J's reaction! UPDATE x 2: I am having a hard time finding the correct tubing for the machine. Am currently working on it!

Check back often for more updates!

Oh that is a bummer that the tubing is difficult to find. I threw everything we had away after the initial use - because we were sick. The machine came from one place and the tubing came from the pharmacy...isn't that weird? I know SO little about nebulizers. I just know that I kept that one because I was sure someone would use it again one day. I sure hope you can find the tubing.

Are you still in search of tubing? I have many connections in my industry. Just leave me a note on what tubes you need and I'll see what I can do.

    BTW, I LOVE this!

I have the tubing that you need. We have a neb unit. I beoieve this will work. I am willing to send it to you. I can send you 5 new packs. Jenny
