    More signs I'm a dork

    1. I am actually pretty damn excited for the new Indiana Jones movie. Hey, don't give me that look. I know you are too, but at least I have big enough balls to admit it.

    2. I also, somewhat sadly admit to being intrigued about the new 90210. I think all my coolness factors just went flying out the door.

    3. I am oddly bothered by people who don't wear pants that are long enough to cover their ankles and the tops of shoes.

    4. My shoe to pants ratio issue increases dramatically when the shoes in question are Crocs.

    5. Are anyone else's stats down too? Or is no one feeling the Nikki love lately?

    6. I can't believe I just typed "Nikki love."

    7. I just spent $300 at the grocery store yesterday. $300 fucking dollars. This is what happens when you don't grocery shop for a week (or two) and Ken's birthday party is Saturday.

    8. Speaking of birthdays, damn you Red Wing playoffs. No bakery has hockey kits left for cake toppers. I have an (almost) 13 year old who has his heart set on a hockey cake. Guess whose going to get creative? Pictures to follow next week.

    9. So. Brook's gone. Wished it would have been Jason.

    10. I just gave away my clearance Calvin Klein blazer that I spent $30 on 6 years ago. Due to shoulder surgery and my massive boob size, I will never fit in to it again, even if I drop a size. I'm sobbing on the inside.

    11. What else?

    12. I have Eeyore on my underwear today.

    13. It's going to rain today.

    14. I smacked my knuckles on a door jam 6 weeks ago while carrying a load of laundry. My knuckle is still bruised and sore.

    15. Should I shut up now?

    16. .............................................

I'm having to get creative with ZBoy's cake too - but for financial reasons rather than bakery shortages. We're going with a Hoth cake using the StarWars characters with really big feet (they don't fall over so easily). Plus, Z already has them so I just have to wash them. His party is this weekend. We're hoping it will be warm enough to swim.

My right index finger is extremely sore. I can't think of anything I've done to it, but I've had to change the way I write because the slightest pressure makes me want to cry. I'm hoping I'm not in for another round of crippling arthritis. It seems to come and go every 7 or 8 years starting in my early 20s.

Pants that touch the tops of your feet are just too darned hot around here. In the summer, if we must cover our legs, we opt for capris.

If it helps - I love you!

#3. I saw a lady the other day, wearing ankle boots and 3/4 pants. There would have been a gap of skin about 2 inches, except she had socks on.

I spent ages just looking and going WTF?

Not sure about my stats, but I just found you and I love your writing.

I've noticed lately that some of the people who used to visit me regularly no longer do so~ but then I am not commenting as much lately! Also although I read a lot of blogs in bloglines, sometimes it takes ages to get the comments box to upload, if this happens I often give up and move on to the next post!

I stop by more than once a day usually...shouldn't that up your stats?
    I love me some Nikki!

I feel like we have talked about the pants thing before. Me being tall it's hard to get pants long enough but I am no high water...I do wear crocs...have done so with capris but only the mary jane crocs.

I am overly excited about the Indian Jones movie!

Sad Brooke is gone, I wish Jason or Syesha would have gone. Hopefully next week. I am more sick of her than Jason. Her smile is fake to me.

I was at the store yesterday too and almost spent that much - trying to stock up on things so I won't have to grocery shop again for a while. (I haven't been in 2 weeks and was SHOCKED at the price hike on such things as bread).

Yeah, I'm excited for the Jones movie too...but will I get to go? Probably not.

Holy Crap, you guys are scaring me. I haven't been grocery shopping in a couple of weeks and now I am scared to go.

I am still a regular. Where else could I hear great names like "Nikki Love."

That is like the best porno name ever!

I'm not looking forward to the new Indian Jones movie at all, the new Star Wars movies were awful and ruined everything for me. I'm afraid that a 65 year old Indy will do the same.

While I don't look at stats, my comments have been down for a while. There are a lot of people in our circle who have tapered off considerably. I'm the same as Chris, if it's taking a long time to load the comments page, I just move on.

I read at least once daily - MY BAD - don't usually take the time to leave a comment (Sorry). JASON SHOULD HAVE BEEN SENT PACKING !

What!! No Winnie the Pooh.... what's up with that?

I am glad that Brooke went home, but Jason has got to go next week. Seriously.

I wish I had long pants, but being 5'11", even when I buy "Talls" (which aren't always easy to find, and are never on the bargain rack!) they don't always cover the top of the shoes. :(

Don't feel bad. I've heard alot of people talking about how the blogdom seems to be slow these days. I love you and check on you at least a few times a week, whether I comment or not.

If you're a dork, I'm right there with you. I am SO waiting to see Indy again! I plan on buying advance tickets and seeing it opening day. Harrison Ford is a real MAN, and real MEN seem to only get better with age.

I tend to agree with Sayre. Long pants suck major monkey balls in the summer down in Florida. I only wear them to work and if I take a hike in the woods (skeeters and deerflies!). Eventhough it should probably be against the law for me to wear shorts, I live in them. I wear them out. Shorts and flip flops or Crocs. That's how it's done in the sunshine state!

aw. i still love me some nikki.

and i will join you in your dorkdom.

Finally coming in to show some love...feel free to return the favor anytime. ;D (Dang, subtle I am not tonight...pardon my pushy self. LOL)
    I admit it...I like Indy. :)
    90210...not so much.
    what about capris?
Crocs...don't have any. The real ones are expensive buggers, and I have to use that money on gas. ;P
Hey, at least you have lots of commenters...*sighs* Okay.../end self-pity.
You had $300? Make room, I'm coming over...be afraid. ;)
Hey, I like dreads...for eye candy, anyway. I liked the hula song from a couple weeks ago. heh!
Hope you feel better soon...leaving you goodies at FB to help keep the smiles around. ttfn, m'dear Elvis mom. ;)

I think we may be related. Really. Too bad I didn't find you while I still lived in your area. Of course at that time I didn't even know what a blog was. Or that they even existed.

If these things make you a dork then I need a big I AM A DORK sign. I'm off now to savor my dorkiness!

And Indiana Jones? We have the boxed set on DVD and VHS.

    #1. Me, too Love Indiana
#5. My stats are down too. Maybe its because my computer is down and I haven't been reading my own blog .. bwaa ha ha ha. just kidding.
    #12. There's a big A$$ IN my underwear today

    You're too funny! :)

All I have to say is GO STARS!!!!!!!!!! :P

hehehe I think u're cute ..... go girl!
